Obstacles to teaching the Holy Qur'an and Islamic education in the preparatory stage from the point of view of its teachers

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the obstacles that impede the teaching of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic education in the preparatory stage from the point of view of the teachers of the subject. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach in achieving the objectives of the research. The research communi-ty consisted of(521) teachers from Alrussaffa1 Directorate. The researcher has chosen (200) teachers of them to identify the problems that hinder the teaching of the subject of the Qur'an and Islamic education by (70) teachers and (130) schools who were chosen by the random and proportional method. The results showed that the obstacles focus on the obstacles related to the educational means and the learners in a high way and the results showed that the female teachers are hindered by the obstacles dealt with in the research to a greater extent than the male teach-ers and the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposals that could be solutions to the obstacles that were dealt with in the induction.
