Publication Ethics

1. Originality and Prevention of Plagiarism

  • The manuscript must be original and not previously published.
  • Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is prohibited.
  • All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin software.
  • Any form of plagiarism or manipulation of data or images will result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction after publication.

2. Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Authors must present accurate, reliable, and verifiable results.
  • Authors should retain raw data and provide it to the editorial board upon request.
  • Any conflicts of interest or sources of research funding must be disclosed.
  • All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
  • Only individuals who have made a significant scientific contribution to the research should be listed as authors.

3. Research Ethics

Research Involving Human Subjects

  • Compliance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki is required.
  • Approval from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or ethics committee must be obtained.
  • Written informed consent from participants must be provided when necessary.
  • Participants’ privacy and confidentiality must be protected, and personal information must not be disclosed.

4. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Manuscripts must be treated with complete confidentiality.
  • Reviewers should provide objective and evidence-based scientific evaluations.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Reviewers should report any suspected plagiarism or similarity detected during the review process.

5. Editorial Board Responsibilities

  • Publication decisions must be based solely on scientific quality and merit.
  • The confidentiality of the peer-review process must be maintained.
  • Unpublished information must not be used for personal purposes.
  • The editorial board must ensure the integrity and independence of the peer-review process.

6. Image and Data Policy

  • Manipulation of images in a way that may mislead readers or distort results is prohibited.
  • The journal may request original high-resolution copies of images and scientific figures for verification purposes.

7. Citation and References Policy

  • All sources must be cited accurately and appropriately.
  • Excessive self-citation or unjustified citation practices are prohibited.
  • Authors must ensure that they have actually consulted all cited sources.

8. Copyright and Licensing

  • The journal adopts the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
  • Authors retain copyright of their work while allowing reuse with proper attribution to the original source.
