Abstract

The term tracking in the language is applied to the meaning of tracking, and looking at the words of others, and the idiomatic meaning does not deviate from the linguistic meaning, as tracking was defined as: the scholar's independent consideration of the words of others, or his previous words are mistaken, or remedial.
It became clear to us that Imam Al-Zubaidi was correct in four of the five accusations he traced to Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi - may God have mercy on him -.
It became clear to us that Imam Ibn al-Jawzi even if he was a great scholar - remains human and he is not infallible from falling into error, delusion and forgetfulness.
