Abstract

This research is derived from the doctoral dissertation titled (Explanation of the Purposes of the Purposes) of Imam al-Dalji, because it deals with part of the phenomenon of atheism that has spread in society, both ancient and modern, as it deals with the study of the issue of the resurrection and existence after annihilation. It is a matter of audiology, then he separated the saying in the difference between the theologians on the one hand and the philosophers and the transcendentalists and those who agreed with them on the other hand, so he presented the opinions of the deniers of the resurrection and discussed their evidence, and he responded to them with evidence from transmission and reason, following in that the nation's audience that his denial is blasphemy and certainty And if the verses are diverted from their phenomena without a need for it, while it is not possible to desire their phenomena, it is an atheism in religion, and a response to the Mu'tazilah who made the Almighty obligatory upon Him the resurrection physically, and then conveyed the difference of those who affirm the resurrection; Some of them said that the resurrection is spiritual and physical, and some of them said spiritual, and most said it was physical, and he outweighed it and defended it and inferred it and responded to its opponents, then he spoke about the difference between them among those who said that it was physical; Some of them said: The body is returned by itself, and some of them said: It is a plural after separation, and Imam Al-Juwayni stopped at that, so Imam Al-Dalji had great verbal efforts in responding to atheists who deny the Hereafter and the Resurrection, so we intend to highlight it through this research.
