Abstract

Peaceful coexistence is a legitimate principle of Islam, called for by the Holy Qur'an and the honorable Sunnah, and it is a process of renewal related to life, so as to protect society from the spread of corruption, evils and deviation, and thus human reform is achieved in all respects, and with the righteousness of man the world is reformed.
The research showed that coexistence is only in the presence of familiarity and affection, and a person does not live with others unless there is understanding between them and a desire for a common life that is protected by familiarity that is dominated by affection and trust, and since coexistence is the will of the people of the heavenly religions and different civilizations to work in order for security and peace to prevail in the world, and even Humanity lives in an atmosphere of brotherhood and acquaintance with what is in the good that pervades all human beings without exception.
The research emphasized that peaceful coexistence is an expression intended to create an atmosphere of understanding among peoples away from war and violence, which is agreement, acceptance and moral reconciliation between people in their dealings and dealings wherever they are in the same time and place.
The importance of the research lies in the fact that the concept of justice is one of the global and human concepts, and it was not a religious concept as much as it is a rational concept.
The research methodology showed that the Islamic vision of dialogue contributed to achieving coexistence at the local and international levels, and urged the community to respect the beliefs of others, and Islam rejected coercion or intimidation of those with other religious beliefs, so it sought to recognize the heavenly religions.
The research concluded that the word coexistence means coexistence with others, and it can only be with the presence of familiarity and affection, and a person does not live with others unless there is understanding and a desire for a common life between them, which is protected by familiarity, which is dominated by affection and trust.
