Zakat al-Fitr and its time and transmission
Abstract
Zakat al-Fitr is distributed to the poor of the country in which it is obligatory, i.e. the country in which the body for which zakat is paid is located, and accordingly, if there are some poor people in your country from its banks, then it should be paid to them. Transferring that zakat was legitimate, and accordingly, if that charitable organization has started transferring zakat to the poor of another country, then it should take the initiative to distribute it as much as possible so that it is not late for the day of Eid. Or someone who helps in the distribution and the like, then there is no blame on you, and it is not permissible for you to delay the distribution without an excuse, because the basic principle is that it is forbidden to delay paying zakat al-Fitr until the day of Eid.
