The Correlation between Reflective Thinking and Drive for Achievement among Biotechnology Students at University of Fallujah School of Applied Sciences
Abstract
This research paper aims to identify and explore the correlation between reflective thinking achievement scales among UoF Biotechnology students. The research has adopted the descriptive analytical approach for field sur-vey. The research community (185 UoF Biotechnology m/f students\ fourth leve)l, has been demarcated. A 35% research sample (41 students) has also randomly been selected.
The research seeks to find answers to the following questions:
-What's the magnitude of the reflective thinking scale among fourth graders Biotechnology students?
- What's the magnitude of the Achievement scale among fourth graders Biotechnology students?
- What's the correlation between reflective thinking and achievement scales among students consistent with the set forth criteria?
Twin data collections appraches were adopted. Eysenck & Weilson Reflec-tive Scale which is comprised of 30 reflective thinking analytical tools. The Second Analysis model is Al-Azimi Scale, which comprised of 55 achievement analysis tools.
The researcher has verified the data via the SPSS app, where he conduct-ed the survey among 2021-2022 class. The researcher has arrived at a num-ber of conclusions following a due analysis and a due discussion in line with the research areas in addition to a number of recommendations including but not limited to:
-Learning is a parameter for national development and given that the sound thinking is the handle of the educational process, it must be prior-itized in terms of guidance, care and accommodation.
- Create and adopt a set of thinking programs that suit all educational and learning levels.
Delimit the priorities that enhance and motivate the achievement scale among students.
