Abstract

The research dealt with the problem of renewal in the science of interpretation in terms of differentiating between the correct renewal and the reprehensible renewal. Then the researcher tried to identify the correct and disciplined renewal directions and its fields, based on the fact that there is no objeaction in interpretation to benefiting from contemporary and new sciences, knowledge and cultures, which helps the interpreter to understand correctly and expand reflection. The verses of the Holy Qur’an, by projecting them on the needs and requirements of the new reality; Within this context, the researcher touched on defining the aspects in which renewal is not permissible and the aspects in which renewal is permissible, which are renewal in meaning, renewal in deduction, and renewal in dealing with developments in reality that confront people's daily lives, which imposed trends in the science of interpretation represented in social interpretation, interpretation. Objective, scientific explanation. The researcher identified the sources of these trends, the conditions for their validity and types, and presented the evidence of those who approved and opposed them, relying on the descriptive and analytical approach in addressing the research problem.The researcher came to the conclusion that innovation in the science of interpretation is one of the contemporary and innovative methodologies. Therefore, a wide controversy arose around it between supporters and opponents, in addition
to the fact that renewal in religion or in the science of interpretation is an urgent and necessary need to keep pace with the developments of the era and the data it produced.At the end of his research, the researcher came up with a number of recommendations related to the conditions, controls, principles and rules of renewal, and the need to pay attention to the accurate legal rooting of the modern terminology that has been taken from the renewal as a direction for it in the science of interpretation, and to clarify the deviant modern trends in interpretation, identify them, warn against them, and reveal their defects and deviations with an objective scientific approach based on To the evidence and proofs from the Qur'an, Sunnah and consensus.
