Abstract

In the agency contract, the lawyer has several obligations, including the obligation to inform, as the general rules require the agent to provide the client with the necessary information and data that he may obtain during the implementation of his works assigned to him by the latter, and the legislator has imposed this obligation on the lawyer due to the nature of the relationship he has with the principal; The latter often has little experience and knowledge in the legal field; The opposite of the first, as it is a professional one; Although most civil laws imposed the duty to inform in the agency contract, at the same time they did not specify the nature or type of information that the agent must provide to the client; In addition, this obligation is not directly referred to in the special rules, especially in the Iraqi legal profession.
