Abstract

Raising the level of the students of English to an ambitious level in an era of increasing importance of this language, where the urgent need for it as the language of science, culture, conferences and science, as mentioned above, requires great efforts and concerted efforts from all.
The first thing to be sought is Allah's piety and sincerity in seeking science. English is one of the most important sciences at the moment. The Almighty says: "Fear Allah and He will teach you, and God knows everything" (Surat Al-Baqara: ۲۸۲). In addition, it is a must to develop the skills of teachers, especially many of them lack the necessary experience, both scientific and cultural ones, through courses held by many prestigious international universities, especially in the summer, called schools or English language programs. Many of these programs are at nominal or free prices if there are cooperation agreements between our college and those ones. One of the things that needs to be done is to try to reduce the number of subjects that burden the student with additional assignments, instead must focus on the subjects of specialization, like other universities such as Baghdad and Mustansiriyah.
One of the most important points to be taken care of is to make sure that the student listens to The English language in the voice and the tone of its people, whether in the British or American dialect, through the screen and the presentation of news or other programs on a daily basis so that students get used to hearing them permanently throughout the four years of study. Thus the students graduate with a level that qualifies them to pass the international language tests such as TOEFL or IELTS, which allows them to complete their higher studies in prestigious countries and universities, and raise their academic and linguistic level. Hoping that all these will be in the service of this religion and faculty that enabled them to achieve their goals, as well as serve their country and help in its development by keeping up with the latest developments in various scientific, cultural, economic and political fields.
