Abstract

Many and varied factors emerged in American history that participated in its making, including important personalities who contributed greatly to the founding of the United States, such as George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, in addition to economic and political factors that led to pivotal events in this history, the most important of which is the American Revolution, as well as geographical and intellectual factors. The state of Massachusetts represented the most important places and starting points. Because everyone who has tried and tries to read and study the history of the United States of America, especially the stage of its founding and the most important turns it went through, finds that this state has an almost pivotal role in making this important history. On this basis, the importance of studying this subject lies in order to identify the reasons for the role of the state of Massachusetts and its forms in the history of the world's largest superpower in a specific objective manner.
We conclude from this research that the geography of the American state of Massachusetts seems to have resolved with a high percentage the role of the spatial or geographical factor and its importance in making history, which was represented in the great roles played by this state in drawing the history of an important country the size of the United States of America. However, the role of this factor cannot be achieved without the help of the intellectual factor that was embodied by the early founders of Massachusetts and who made it an important factor in drawing this important history.
