Abstract

The pronunciation of the letter "Daad" in our era represents a real problem for many Arabic speakers, and this matter occupied the minds of Arabic scholars and intonation, ancient and modern, so they wrote many books. One of these works is a small thesis called: (Al-Risalah al-Fathiyya fi Bayan al-Dhaad al-Qite'), by Sheikh Daoud bin Muham-mad Al-Qarisi al-Hanafi (d. 1169 AH), in which he denied his contempo raries the performance of al-Dhaad as al-Da'a, which is called al-Dhaad
al-Da'iah, and he answered his call, and invalidated it with evidence.
