Author Publication Fees
All articles in Al-Yarmouk Journal are published under a full Open Access model. To provide free access to readers and cover the costs of editorial management, formatting, and long-term archiving, the journal applies Article Processing Charges (APCs)
).
The APC includes plagiarism detection fees and peer-review fees. Upon the acceptance of the manuscript, the author is required to pay the publication fees. No fees are charged for rejected research, with the exception of the plagiarism detection and peer-review fees.

Publication fees are determined based on the number of pages. The fixed rates for manuscripts between 20 to 30 pages are as follows:

An additional fee of 5,000 IQD is charged for every extra page exceeding the limit.
International Authors: Research submitted by non-Iraqi authors is free of charge.
Aside from the APC, there are no other hidden costs (such as submission or color charges). Please note that APCs are non-refundable once the article has been officially accepted for publication.

Waiver Policy Statement
- No Submission Fees: There are no charges for the initial submission of research papers.
- APC Timing: Article Processing Charges are not requested until the research has been accepted for the peer-review stage.
- Ethical Publishing: The journal strictly prohibits publishing research in exchange for gifts or deals.
- Institutional Integrity: We commit to not claiming representation of entities or individuals not affiliated with the institution.
- Data Privacy: Authors' data will not be used in any form without prior explicit consent from the author.
