بين دلالة كلمة "الثقافة" في المعجمات العربية القديمة، وبين الدراسات الغربية الحديثة فجوة معرفية، سعى البحث إلى ملئها بتقديم تعريف جديد لها مستند إلى الدراسات الثقافية.
كانت الثقافة في مجتمع الجماعة الإسلامية الأولى حول النبي محمد r أول عيِّنة للبحث، ثم انتقل البحث منها إلى التعريف بالاستشهاد بنصوص القرآن الكريم والحديث النبوي والتاريخ الإسلامي، مركِّزاً على الجوانب الاجتماعية التي ينطلق منها تعريف الثقافة وعمل الدراسات الثقافية.
Abstract
Between the significance of the word "culture" in old Arabic dictionaries and modern Western studies, there is a knowledge gap. This research seeks to fill this gap by presenting a new definition of culture based on cultural studies.
The culture of the early Islamic community around the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the first sample for the research. From there, the research moved to defining culture by citing texts from the Holy Quran, the Prophet's Hadith, and Islamic history, focusing on the social aspects from which the definition of culture and the work of cultural studies begin.
